Lost art : This painting was collected in 2023 and shipped to Europe. It takes a little longer to get overseas, and the collector was very patient... but after six weeks, we knew something was wrong. After a long wait and a lot of follow up with the shipping service, we found it had been lost once through customs in its destination country! The collector was refunded their money via the courier insurance... but now I'm left without any art, and someone, somewhere has my painting!
I did manage to take one decent photo of this painting which is suitable for small prints up to 8x10 inches (I recently printed at 5x7 and they look nice and sharp.) So I am offering this download at a lower price because it is smaller than my other downloads that print up to poster size.

This painting has quite a sheen on it and is difficult to photograph for prints… so it is only available as the original. The frame is in solid condition, but the metal trim has caused some rust on the fabric, you can see in the photos. I recommend reframing in simple black to give it a refresh.
Original vintage painting by Aage Klemp (1921 - 2011.) Klemp immigrated to Canada from Denmark in the 50’s. I enjoyed learning more about him by reading his obituary, including that he had a sense of humour.
