The parallel of having such an enormous structure built behind this historic defensive system gives an ominous feeling of oppression… and you wonder how much longer the locals will peacefully get along with the upper management.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eI collected this vintage print titled “Batterie Royale, Quebec” locally in Ontario. The artist printed it on paper (not an etching, you can see the dots from the printer on the paper under a magnifying glass!), and then applied some watercolour to give it a handmade feel. It is signed and dated (1990) by the original artist.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eArt Drop Notes : This is a proper \"straight from the artist's desk\" art drop! I was feeling very inspired these last weeks and decided that instead of doing a fancy, polished art drop, I would just paint, paint, paint more art for May the 4th! I am now putting them all into their vintage frames... that means repairing the old frames, cleaning the glass, then photographing each one.
