Save The Ugly Paintings by Hera Castles

A note from Heather : My daughter, Hera, has been working with me to save for school this fall, helping with admin & orders. She's also been paying attention while I've been painting nerdy stuff into vintage art! And now she is running with her own ideas to save old paintings and give them a fun new story. It's been fun working together these past weeks, she's a great apprentice, and as her mum I'm delighted to share her art with you all. 

About the Artist : 

Hey I’m Hera! I’m a full time university student at McMaster University and I'm doing a bit of art to support myself! My Mom and I have painted together since I was little, and I am working alongside her now. I started by helping her with her socials and now it’s my turn to have a go with the brush!

I love drawing and painting my favourite things. Genuinely this is a tough task to narrow down all the things I love. Some of the big ones I like are Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I’ve also discovered Arcane, Avatar the Last Air Bender and I will also admit to avidly following Miraculous Ladybug. But hey you never know what I may paint next!
