"A Galaxy Far, Far Away"
Upcycled vintage painting by Heather Castles
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a star destroyer crashed on a planet. Over time the forest overtook it, and it became part of the mountain scape. Perhaps that planet was ours, and years later an artist painted the mountain that fell from the sky.
I collected this vintage print of Robert Wood's masterpiece on board from antique boutique up north in Ontario. I rewired the frame, flattened the warped board and gave it a good clean before painting in the star destroyer in the style of the original artist.
The original of this painting found a home... I hope you enjoy the print!
