When I paint, I keep little canvases next to me so that I can brush off excess paint. As time goes by, the colours and textures build up in a pleasing way, till I like it enough to frame it and hang alongside the original art or prints!
This is the little abstract came into being as I painted several scifi artworks, including including my 2023 Portraits of Droids collection and my pieces inspired by Dr Who. So it has little bits of each of these artworks in it. I make notes on the back of the canvas of which paintings I was working on at the time.
Note : the photos included show the images of the artworks I was creating that this little abstract canvas was built up along side of... the altered artworks are not included in this listing, this is just for the framed abstract canvas!
