These vintage prints on board were perfect for a bit of herbology... I liked imagining the witch or wizard's surprise, when they discovered their innocuous bouquet contained a deadly plant!
Want to know something cute? I painted these separately, putting in the vines where they fit the best. Wasn't until the end I realized that the paintings CONNECT! Was a total accident, but the vines from one match up with the vines of the other. Check out the photos to see!
The original prints on board were collected locally in Mississauga, Ontario. The prints themselves have faded a bit over time, but I think that adds to the look. The frames are made of plastic. I gave them a darker coat of paint to age them and add to that magical wizard home look.
