It was totally unnerving altering this vintage painting while the hunting dog snickered at me the entire time! If you grew up in the 80’s and played this classic video game, you’ll know the feeling… and maybe even remember the disappointment of the ducks flying away, followed by the humiliation of this cheeky dog mocking your defeat! 

The original unsigned vintage art was painted on board. It’s an example of mass produced landscapes, where the artist painted dozens almost exactly the same. This mass production of art unfortunately why they aren’t as valuable… they just aren’t unique. Which is a shame, because they were handmade by a real artist with skills. So I very much enjoy altering pieces like this and giving them a second life.
