Concerning Hobbits, p2.)
The Shire is filled with many little villages, each of those with their own hobbit hills, each of those unique and filled to the brim with comforts that suit the wee person who lived there. I wonder who lived here in the home with the little blue door, by the river, with their little boat, so close to the swans?
The original vintage print was collected locally in Ontario. It's difficult to read the artist's name, but looks like "Harrison 1918." I had collected it intending to use just the frame, but but when I saw the print was a good surface to paint on, and it was such a lovely landscape, decided to alter it and keep all the components together.
