Tripped - PRINT 8x10 in wood frame

One of my favourite Star Wars moments was when they took down the walker by first roping its legs with cables causing it to crumple face first like a wrangled bull into the snow! The AT-AT’s (All Terrain Armoured Transports) were sooo intimidating, and it was “so Star Wars” to have such a simple way to take them down! 

With this old print by Robert Wood, I have wanted to “crash” something into the rocks, and have sat on different ideas for several months. The shape of that first rock is what determined it for me, as it reminded me of the head of a walker. So I built the idea of my painting around that iconic, helpless felled walker from the original films.
