Santa is having a vacation… and Jack Skellington is taking over this Christmas! 

It’s only fair that after painting over so many vintage paintings, that I paint over one of my own! The base for this painting was a portrait of Santa I painted during lockdown… was a bit of fun, but a few years on I’m not as fond of it… so in true artist style, I decided to paint over it! 

I love how sincerely Jack wanted to do a good job of Christmas… and how horrifying it all turned out! A classic story of embracing who you are, and not trying to be someone else.
