This June I've set aside time for my dragons, Princess Bride and Monty Python ideas. Then the long summer months have been set aside for Ents. 

Early Birds : I know some of you are waiting on specific pieces... I have not forgotten and I have put them aside for you!

As always I'll share sneak peeks and the raw work in progress on social media.

We have... dragons! 
I've been wanting to visit the fandom of How To Train Your Dragon for ages... and am very much enjoying taking some time to study different favourite moments in paint, charcoal & oil pastel before starting on a very large altered painting.

There Was An Old Woman... 
I remember playing with these Red Rose tea Wade figurines in the 80's when I was really little! They were all on the window sill and I would rearrange them and gently play with them, hoping my mum didn't notice. It always bothered me that the old woman was almost the same size as the shoe... how could she possibly fit in there?

Davey Jones' Brick Locker... 
I love, love, loved lego when I was little. And when I was a teenager. And again when my kids were old enough for it! My sister & I always had to share the ONE girl lego piece... it was this girl pirate, and she was "so beautiful." We made lego dresses out of sloped bricks. Anyway... this alteration was really fun, with a nod to the original Barracuda lego set that came out in the 90's, and the pirate hideaway set as well. We got this set on Boxing Day, it had been returned and had pieces missing so was discounted (didn't have a lot of money!) And Lego was so good... we mailed away and they sent us the missing pieces for free!

Nov 28, 2025 - On Black Friday I have a studio sale on sketches & studies... perfect for mix-and-matching with finished art for that "from the art studio" look. This is the one weekend of the year that my printable downloads go ON SALE. Original upcycled pieces, custom framed prints, postcards and normal prints will not be discounted.

One of a Kind Show 
Dec 2 - 7, 2025 - I am delighted to be joining on at the OOAK Toronto for my second year! I've rented a LARGER space to show my art, and will have new art with me. You'll find me there during the second half of the show (this suits me best, my kids are still in school and it's a big thing me being away for these six days!) Looking forward to seeing you there!
