Big Coward study No.1, pastel on paper

This loose charcoal study was to prepare for my new altered painting inspired by the Fang meeting a pair of thestrals. This was my first study, where I drew many angles and versions of the boar hound to capture his droopy cheeks and cowardly, worried expression!
