On May the 4th, I celebrated by painting art inspired by one of my favourite scifi parodies! I've been wanting to paint this portrait for years, was so much to make.
When I first found this frame, I knew the geometric style leant itself to something scifi...and having used its sister frames for portraits of droids, this one felt it could handle a sillier scifi parody!
It's one of my favourite portraits I've done and I'm enjoying looking at it up in my studio... keeps me laughing and inspires me to have fun with my current works!
I scanned this painting at 600dpi so reproductions can easily be printed at twice the size of the original illustration.
