I love the idea of droids sitting for their portraits like our ancestors would in the olden days. It requires a lot of patience to stand perfectly still while one is immortalized in paint… such a contrast to today’s selfie culture! 

Vintage frame : My frames are sourced locally from a thrift store, given a little TLC replacing glass and backings. This antique metal frame is designed for tabletop display. 

Antique paper : sourced from a 1920's photo album.

Note : This is for only the D-UM droid... I've shown it paired with its brother portrait, the RO-GR droid.
