This piece is for people like me who enjoy pretty things and also like to subtly show off their inner nerd!

Somebody obviously disobeyed the prime directive… again! With this painting, I explored the idea that "someone" was visiting mid 19th-century Earth, and carelessly left a piece of technology laying about! 

The original vintage painting was by Edith Jameson, Toronto. There was a paper label on the back of the canvas with Edith’s details, undated but I would say this piece is mid 19th century. The sticker on the back says “After First Frost” which I don’t think matches the painting… so I wonder if Edith painted over a winter landscape. Artists often paint over canvas (because canvas was expensive!), and there are little signs of colour underneath the existing floral.

Frame : The original frame is in good condition with some slight wear which adds to the charm. Wired and ready to display. I’ve mocked up an example photo with a simple white frame if you wish to remove the original painting and reframe it.
