Big Coward study No.2, pastel on paper

This loose charcoal study was to prepare for my new altered painting inspired by the Fang meeting a pair of thestrals. This was my final study, where I settled on the alert position of the boar hound, which is how I pictured he would look when approaching the thestrals for the first time.
