I found this vintage print and right away it made me think of the dirigible plums growing outside the Lovegood's home. I imagined that for generations, Lovegoods tended their floating plums with care... leaving notes for visitors to keep off the plums! So this old timey style painting felt like a nice opportunity to paint plums in instead of the flowers... including one very large one about to snap off and float away! 

For fun I also created a little "Keep Off The Dirigibles" note, written in ink on vintage paper. If you would like to collect this piece, I can either leave the note taped to the outside of the frame (as if one of the Lovegoods had taped it there decades before) or I can attach it to the art inside the frame behind glass so it is protected from household dust, etc.
