This portrait was made by request of my kids... we are in summer holidays, and watching a lot of LEGO Ninjago! Zane is a favourite... and we agreed, you can't have a collection of droids without a nindroid!

I love the idea of droids sitting for their portraits like our ancestors would in the olden days. It requires a lot of patience to stand perfectly still while one is immortalized in paint… such a contrast to today’s selfie culture! 

Vintage frame : My frames are sourced locally from a thrift store, given a little TLC replacing glass and backings. This vintage looking resin frames is designed for wall display. 

Antique paper : sourced from a 1920's photo album.
