With this altered art series, I was inspired by the world of Harry Potter. I’ve enjoyed exploring ideas from my “muggle” point of view, imagining that in real life through history the magical spilled into ours and artists unknowingly captured those moments in their art. By taking real vintage artworks and subtly painting alterations into them to include magical qualities, I am illustrating that faux art history.
