The Kraken Vs Ship - PRINT in vintage brass frame

This faded ship painting lent itself to being transformed into something new. I usually like to paint octopus playing with passing ships, but this one had it coming... and the kraken is winning!

This vintage painting was rescued along with another, and both were in rough shape. They were very, very dirty! No hanging wire, bit dented. So I gently cleaned them, put them in new frames. 

These replica paintings were created in the style of the old European masters. Examples of mass produced “original” artwork, I have found many almost identical paintings locally. I’m pretty sure pen names are used, as the painting looks like it is done by the same artist even though they are signed differently. 

Frame Details : Reclaimed brass frame in very good quality, some minor scuffing which adds to the vintage charm! Tabletop display.
