“Walkers in a Winter Wonderland” upcycled vintage painting by Heather Castles
This painting just emits quiet and cold. I can almost hear the ominous creak of the frost on the metal joints of the walkers as they search the landscape for rebel scum. I imagined this migration of walkers was an accepted part of life on that planet, and that the artist would hold their breath as they painted them walking across the winter wonderland.
The original painting was painted (by R. Hutman?) and very nice on its own, but it has fallen victim to trends in art styles changing. So adding in elements that have been part of modern culture gives it a second life and the style a chance to be appreciated again.

Frame details : Antique brass frame in excellent quality. The glass has a slight ding in it, you can see in top left corner. Tabletop display.
