A Walk in the Woods - PRINT 24x24 in black frame

This is a custom order for a new frame and print, please give me two weeks to collect the materials (the new frame and print) and put it together for you!

This alteration started with walkers steadily journeying downriver in the cool mountain waters... and by the time I finished painting, a group of stormtroopers had walked down the path on their search for rebel scum.  

I love adding in pop culture elements like this into old paintings, and playing around with the idea that these events really did happen a long time ago in our little corner of the galaxy. 

This vintage style painting is one of many mass produced original paintings to replicate the style of 70’s painting masters like Bob Ross. This composition formula of "textured mountain + river + trees" has been done so often, you may have even seen a painting almost exactly like this one before.

This vintage painting was in rough shape as it was very dirty and had been attached incorrectly to the frame, which was also very worn from rough storage. So the art was given a good clean. The frame was repainted and repaired, giving it a modern look and new hardware for displaying on the wall. Now that it has been repainted noble grey, the wood frame with its decorative gouges have a sort of mechanical feel to them, which ties in with the walkers themselves.

Print details : printed on matte photo paper. It is so detailed you can see the cracks in the original painting! Beveled white matte.

Note : This frame has plexiglass front, I will send it with the film still on to protect it so you can peel it off when it is ready to display.
