I found this vintage print in a thrift store. It was quite sun damaged, the colours faded. Perfect for giving a refresh and a bit of fun! 

The muted blank space in the middle was just begging for a giant space ship to crash into it. I love how in the recent movies, the aftermath of the ships are just scattered on random planets… part of the landscape. Painting it into a vintage scene like this is my nod to the opening… “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…” I kept the ship textured and worked with the style & palette of the original artist.
